Tu Casa es Mi Casa

Written and Directed by Adrián Casado

A young couple move into their new apartment. As the seasons pass, we get to learn the secrets they keep from one another. Their lives become a mix of feelings and lies that end up deteriorating their relationship to the extent to which one of them has to make a drastic decision.

Opening the first act we meet the couple and their playful relationship…

At the climax we cut into a surreal analogy of the couple’s current state…

Throughout the second act we learn the secrets both are hiding from one another…

A Part of Me

This story rose from a personal experience with social media and more specifically Tik Tok’s visual format of engagement.

For a brief period of time last year, I fell under an addiction with Instagram Reels. While scrolling I truly felt the disconnection with the physical world and the need to quit Instagram for a while.

After distancing myself from Social Media, I was able to live this experience from the outside in an almost astral projection.

I wanted to focus A Part of Me into this physical attachment to our loving cell phones.
